Tea acts as a natural deodorizer When used in a foot bath with warm water in teabag or loose tea-leaf form, it can help curb stinky feet while also rejuvenating tired tootsies.
Foot Odor Home Remedies
Make a foot soak using black tea bags. Soak four or five tea bags in hot water for a few minutes. Add this to warm water in a plastic basin. Soak your feet for 20 to 30 minutes. The tannin in the tea will help keep your feet dry. You will need to do this twice a day. Be sure to dry your feet thoroughly afterwards.
Baking soda or vinegar will make your feet more acidic and will reduce odor. Add one or the other – not both at the same time to a basin of hot water. Use this as a foot soak twice a week.
- Tea Tree Oil added to a foot soak is also affective. You have to add quite a bit though. Tea Tree Oil is antibacterial.
